Artist's Description

This religious Yemenite woman claimed that one of her children was kidnapped from her in 1949. She said that she was told the child had died, but she claimed she had never seen the child's body or a tombstone. Even though there was an investigation, nothing was ever proven. Until her dying day she continued to believe that the child was still alive. This is a signed original work painted in watercolor on paper.
